LuxSci SecureLine™ Encryption is an email encryption solution designed for the healthcare industry, providing HIPAA-compliant secure communications for transactional emails, marketing emails, and text messages. The product dynamically determines the optimal encryption method for each recipient by gathering data from multiple sources, removing the need for manual configuration. Messages are accepted via API, SMTP, and WebMail interfaces before passing through the SecureLine™ encryption engine. SecureLine™ supports three core encryption modes: - **SMTP TLS**: Transfers email securely between mail servers that support a sufficient level of TLS (covering approximately 85% of recipients). LuxSci supports TLS, MTA-STS, and FIPS/NIST-recommended security protocols and ciphers. - **SecureLine™ Escrow**: Requires recipients to verify their identity before accessing messages via a secure web portal. Provides delivery, authentication, storage, transmission, and auditing for any email address recipient. - **SecureLine™ PKI**: Uses public key certificates (PGP and/or S/MIME) to encrypt email messages internally before transmission. Requires the recipient to also be using PKI. The system automatically selects the appropriate method based on recipient capabilities, allowing secure communication with any recipient regardless of their email platform. Content-driven encryption rules and opt-out options for HIPAA compliance are supported. Email and text message branding and personalization are available. The product is HITRUST certified.
