indevis WLAN is a managed enterprise wireless LAN service that provides organizations with a fully operated WLAN infrastructure without requiring in-house specialist staff. The service is available in two tiers — Basic and Enterprise — both centrally managed by indevis. **Service Tiers:** - Basic: Cloud-based management of WLAN components - Enterprise: Choice between cloud-based or indevis-hosted management **Infrastructure:** indevis deploys access points based on Hive technology, where access points self-organize into a mesh-like swarm (Hive), eliminating the need for a dedicated WLAN switch or controller. Each access point independently processes management information, monitors network load, and stores data on SLAs, firewall rules, QoS settings, and security configurations. **Guest Network & Access Control:** A guest network with a Captive Portal is included as standard. Self-service workflows enable automated device onboarding for personal and guest devices. Guest vouchers for authentication can be created and distributed via the Guest Management portal. Optionally, Private Preshared Key (PPSK) technology allows profile-based, per-user/device network access. Individual PPSKs can be revoked without affecting other users. **Managed Service Scope:** indevis handles devices, licenses, setup, policies, firmware updates, and service desk support. Capacity planning and rollout assistance are provided, with flexible scalability for local, national, or global deployments. Physical installation is excluded from the service scope.
