Gryphon Tower (Re-certified) is a tri-band AC3000 mesh WiFi router designed for home use, offering up to 2,000 sq ft of wireless coverage per unit and internet speeds up to 1.3 Gbps. It is sold in a refurbished/re-certified condition, factory tested to Grade A standard, and includes all original accessories along with a 1-year hardware warranty. The router is built around two primary functions: network performance and network security. On the security side, it includes a built-in firewall and a parental control system that enables per-device and per-user internet access management, content filtering (including Google and YouTube search filtering), and the ability to pause or suspend internet access for individual devices remotely via a mobile app. Network coverage can be extended by deploying additional Gryphon Tower units in a mesh configuration, connected wirelessly. The router is not compatible with the Gryphon AX (WiFi 6) mesh model. Each re-certified unit includes a free 90-day trial of Gryphon Premium Protection for new account activations, which provides enhanced security features beyond the base hardware capabilities. The product is managed through a companion mobile app that allows users to identify connected devices, assign them to user profiles, and apply access controls.
