Garland Technology Deduplication is a hardware appliance designed to remove duplicate or redundant packets from network traffic before forwarding copies to downstream security or monitoring tools. The device is built in a 1U half-rack form factor and is engineered to process up to 40G of network traffic. It functions as a standalone, complementary device to a Network Packet Broker (NPB), rather than a built-in feature of one. The primary product model (AF10G4ACEV2) supports the following interfaces: - (4) SFP+ 10G ports - (1) QSFP+ 40G port - Managed configuration - AC power - Compatible with 1G, 10G, and 40G speeds By eliminating redundant packets prior to tool ingestion, the appliance reduces unnecessary processing load on connected security and monitoring infrastructure.
