GajShield GS980nu is a next-generation firewall appliance designed for enterprise environments. The device is ICSA Labs certified and provides network security with a focus on data protection and visibility. The firewall includes 8 ports of 1Gbps copper and 2 ports of 40Gbps QSFP+ interfaces, with 7 expandable slots for additional port modules. It supports up to 30 million concurrent sessions and 320,000 new sessions per second, with firewall throughput of 66 Gbps. The appliance implements context-based data security controls to monitor and prevent data exploitation. It provides network behavior analysis, application filtering, and intrusion prevention capabilities. The device includes integrated antivirus scanning with 10 Gbps throughput and IPS functionality with 17.2 Gbps throughput. VPN capabilities support up to 9,000 tunnels with 8.6 Gbps throughput. The firewall offers bandwidth management, load balancing across multiple ISPs, and policy-based routing. BYOD policy enforcement is included for managing personal devices on the network. High availability configurations are supported in both active-active and active-passive modes. The device features redundant power supplies and can be managed through GajShield's centralized firewall management system. On-appliance reporting provides visibility into network traffic and security events.
