GajShield GS580nu is a next-generation firewall appliance designed for enterprise network security. The device is ICSA Labs certified and provides data-centric security capabilities with context-based data security controls. The appliance is a 1U rack-mountable device with 8 ports of 1Gbps copper and 4 ports of 10Gbps SFP+ interfaces. It supports up to 24.1 million concurrent sessions and 300,000 new sessions per second. Performance specifications include 72 Gbps firewall throughput, 13.2 Gbps VPN throughput, 9 Gbps NGFW throughput, 12.1 Gbps antivirus throughput, and 12.5 Gbps IPS throughput. The GS580nu supports up to 10,000 VPN tunnels and features configurable WAN/DMZ/LAN ports. High availability configurations are supported in both Active-Active and Active-Passive modes. The device includes redundant hot-swappable power supplies and 2 expandable slots for additional modules. The firewall provides data leak prevention, network behavior analysis, application filtering, BYOD policy enforcement, bandwidth management, and load balancing capabilities. It includes on-appliance reporting and out-of-band log and configuration management. The device can be managed through GajShield's Centralized Firewall Management System.
