Cyberoam CR35wiNG is a Unified Threat Management (UTM) appliance designed for small office and remote/branch office networks. The device combines network security features with integrated Wi-Fi access point capabilities supporting 802.11n/b/g wireless standards and 3x3 MIMO technology. The appliance provides stateful inspection firewall, intrusion prevention system, anti-virus, anti-spyware, anti-spam, and web filtering capabilities. It includes VPN support for both IPSec and SSL protocols, with capacity for up to 150 IPSec tunnels. The device offers 6 copper Gigabit Ethernet ports configurable as internal, DMZ, or WAN interfaces. The CR35wiNG implements Layer 8 technology that uses user identity as a security policy parameter, enabling identity-based access controls in dynamic IP environments including wireless networks. Performance specifications include firewall throughput of 2,300 Mbps (UDP) and 2,000 Mbps (TCP), with support for up to 350,000 concurrent sessions. Additional features include bandwidth management, application visibility and control, multiple link management for WAN connectivity, web application firewall, and 3G/4G/WiMAX connectivity options. The device supports IPv6 and includes on-appliance reporting capabilities. Wireless capabilities include support for up to 8 BSSID access points with WEP, WPA, WPA2, and 802.1x EAP authentication methods.
