Cyberoam CR25wiNG is a unified threat management (UTM) appliance designed for small office and remote/branch office networks. The device combines network security features with an integrated Wi-Fi access point supporting 802.11n/b/g wireless standards and 3x3 MIMO technology. The appliance provides stateful inspection firewall capabilities, intrusion prevention system (IPS), anti-virus and anti-spyware protection, anti-spam filtering, and web content filtering. It includes VPN support for both IPSec and SSL protocols, enabling secure remote access. The device implements Layer 8 identity-based security policies that use user identity as a control mechanism in both wired and wireless network environments. This allows for role-based access controls in dynamic IP environments. Network management features include bandwidth management, multiple link management for WAN connectivity, application visibility and control, and traffic discovery. The appliance supports 3G/4G/WiMAx connectivity options for business continuity. The CR25wiNG includes 4 configurable Gigabit Ethernet ports, 1 console port, and 2 USB ports. Performance specifications include firewall throughput up to 1,500 Mbps (UDP) and 1,000 Mbps (TCP), with support for up to 150,000 concurrent sessions and 100 IPSec tunnels. The device offers on-appliance reporting capabilities and can be managed through centralized management solutions. It is IPv6 Ready Gold certified and supports web application firewall functionality.
