Cyberoam CR15wiNG is a Unified Threat Management (UTM) appliance designed for small office/home office (SOHO) and remote/branch office (ROBO) networks. The appliance integrates a Wi-Fi access point with 3x3 MIMO technology supporting 802.11n/b/g wireless standards. The device implements Layer 8 technology that treats user identity as the eighth layer in the protocol stack, enabling identity-based security policies in dynamic IP environments including WLAN. The appliance provides network security through stateful inspection firewall, intrusion prevention system, and wireless security capabilities. Content security features include anti-virus, anti-spyware, anti-spam for both inbound and outbound traffic, and HTTPS/SSL content security. The device offers web filtering, application visibility and control, and instant messaging archiving and controls for productivity management. Connectivity features include VPN support (IPSec, L2TP, PPTP, SSL VPN), multiple link management, and 3G/4G/WiMAx connectivity. The appliance includes bandwidth management, traffic discovery, and on-appliance reporting capabilities. Hardware specifications include 3 copper Gigabit Ethernet ports configurable as internal/DMZ/WAN, 1 console port, and 2 USB ports. Performance metrics include 1,000 Mbps firewall throughput (UDP), 750 Mbps (TCP), 110 Mbps IPSec VPN throughput, and support for 50 IPSec tunnels.
