CionSystems Provisioning System is a user and access lifecycle management tool that automates the provisioning and de-provisioning of user accounts across enterprise IT infrastructure and business applications. It connects to HR systems of record, Student Information Systems (SIS), and similar data sources to synchronize changes into downstream IT directories, both on-premises and cloud-based. The system operates on a scheduled basis (typically nightly), reading change feeds from source systems and applying defined policies and templates to create, modify, disable, or delete user accounts in destination systems such as Active Directory. It also handles group membership management by adding or removing users from groups. No scripting or custom coding is required. Administrators define provisioning and de-provisioning policies through a web-based user interface using pre-built and customizable templates. Data field mapping between source and destination systems is configurable through the UI. Key operational features include: - Scheduled automated runs for nightly provisioning cycles - Import of data via CSV files - Master data and supplement data import - Configurable source and destination system settings - Status tracking, audit logging, and error logging - Decision templates for policy-based automation The system consists of two components: a background service that runs continuously on schedule, and a user interface integrated into the Active Directory Manager application under the Provisioning Tab. System requirements include Microsoft Windows Server 2008–2019, .NET Framework 3.5/4.x, SQL Server 2005 or higher, and IIS 7.x or higher. Note: This product's functionality has since been rolled into CionSystems' Enterprise Identity Manager.
