CheckRed Cloud Workload Protection Platform (CWPP) is a security solution designed to protect cloud workloads across multi-cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and Linode. The platform provides visibility into cloud workloads, user accounts, and runtime environments, delivering workload assessments in real-time. It detects anomalies, unpatched software, insecure permissions, vulnerable software dependencies, and fileless attacks such as Pyloose. CheckRed CWPP supports compliance monitoring against frameworks including CIS, NIST, ISO, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, FedRAMP, MITRE, and GDPR. Compliance frameworks are customizable to detect gaps and generate real-time governance reports. Remediation workflows are organized into three types — analyst, remediator, and risk acceptance — with guided instructions available in both control-based and CLI-based formats. Risks can be prioritized using custom weights and compensatory workflows. Reporting capabilities include customizable reports exportable in CSV, PDF, or Docx formats, covering compliance violations, cloud risks, and SaaS security issues. The platform employs custom policy creation to allow organizations to focus on their highest-priority risks, and it tracks interactions between applications and identities across workloads.
