Appdome ONEShield is a mobile Runtime Application Self-Protection (RASP) solution that provides app hardening and shielding capabilities without requiring code changes. The platform automatically adds security protections to mobile applications built with native tools like Xcode and Android Studio, as well as hybrid and cross-platform frameworks including Maui, Xamarin, Cordova, React Native, and Flutter. The solution includes anti-tampering protections that detect and prevent app resigning, executable modifications, and repackaging attempts. For iOS apps, it protects the main executable, while for Android apps it secures DEX files. Anti-debugging capabilities block debugger attachments and tracing tools, causing debug sessions to terminate on iOS and apps to misbehave on Android when debugging is attempted. ONEShield provides anti-emulator protections that obfuscate selector references in iOS executables and plaintext strings in Android DEX files. The platform detects when apps run on simulators or emulators and disconnects them to prevent dynamic code analysis. Checksum validation calculates cryptographic hashes to detect modifications to app resources and configuration elements at runtime. App integrity and structure scanning validates the composition, data structure, and communication paths of applications while identifying potential attack vectors such as malicious URLs. The solution obfuscates Appdome's code and customer-selected services added during the build process, encrypting embedded data to prevent reconnaissance attacks. ONEShield supports only ARM 64-bit architectures and integrates into the Appdome platform's build process, completing app protection in 20-40 seconds.
