WWPass Multi-Factor Authentication Description
WWPass Multi-Factor Authentication is a passwordless authentication solution that eliminates usernames and passwords from the login process. The system uses cryptographic keys stored on devices (smartphones, USB-NFC fobs, or cards) called WWPass Keys to authenticate users across multiple accounts and services. The authentication process combines cryptography with biometrics or PIN codes as additional security layers. Users scan dynamic QR codes on computers or use biometric authentication on mobile devices to complete login. The WWPass Key stores four random numbers (Authenticator ID, Authenticator key, User ID, and User Key) without storing personal data on the device. The solution includes Single Sign-On capabilities, allowing users to access multiple enterprise applications and services with a single authentication. It supports both on-premise and cloud deployment models. The system provides self-service key revocation and recovery without requiring password resets across accounts. WWPass MFA integrates with web-based environments and IAM systems through SDKs. An open-source SSO server enables integration with corporate infrastructure supporting SAML, OAuth2, UMA2, RADIUS, and ADFS protocols. The solution offers mail and data encryption capabilities and is designed to comply with GDPR and NIST SP 800-63-1 standards. The platform operates on a geographically-distributed core network with ISO 27001 certified data centers for high availability and reliability.
