Visual Passcodes is an authentication solution that uses images as authentication factors. The system allows users to select a personal image called a "Keepic" which serves as a credential for multiple authentication scenarios including passwordless login, multi-factor authentication, account recovery, and passkey roaming. The solution operates by having users select an image during enrollment, which can be complemented with additional factors such as PIN, pattern, or biometrics. The selected image generates cryptographic keys linked to the user's digital identity. The image remains unmodified and can be stored in multiple locations without compromising security. The system supports several authentication use cases: passwordless access replacing traditional credentials, image-based second factor authentication, account recovery validation, passkey login across devices without third-party sync, and edge biometrics where biometric data is never stored or transmitted. Visual Passcodes uses one-time pad encryption, zero-knowledge verification, and quantum-resistant cryptography. The system is designed to work across platforms without requiring users to install software or special hardware. It can be deployed via Identity Provider integration or API, and supports both cloud-based (EU) and on-premises deployment. The solution is positioned as compliant with GDPR and NIS2 regulations, offering an alternative to traditional passwords, hardware tokens, SMS/email codes, and TOTP-based authentication methods.
