Password SHOCK is a feature within the LogMeOnce security platform that provides automated countermeasures against unauthorized login attempts. When an unauthorized password entry is detected, the system triggers a series of automated responses targeting the intruder's device. These responses include continuous device vibration and loud audio playback on the attacker's phone or computer. The duration, volume, and timing of these responses are configurable by the account owner. In addition to active countermeasures, Password SHOCK collects metadata from the intruder's device during an unauthorized access attempt. This includes IP address, GPS location, MAC address, and other identifying information, even if the attacker attempts to mask their identity. The platform also includes an account freeze feature, which allows users to lock their account from any device for a user-defined period. During a freeze, no transactions or account activity can occur. Users can configure exceptions, such as allowing access from a specific trusted mobile device while blocking all others. Automated alerts notify the account owner of any unauthorized login attempts in real time. The system is designed to operate without requiring manual intervention once configured.
