Key capabilities include identity verification to assess the risk of a digital identity during account creation and checkout, bot detection to identify automated fraudulent activity, velocity checks to monitor interaction frequency for fraud patterns, and card testing detection on zero-dollar authorization attempts or payment events. The solution uses two forms of machine learning — supervised and unsupervised — to analyze data and make authentication decisions. It draws on a global data network, including data from Equifax's digital and physical interactions, to inform risk decisions.
