SmartLogon™ is a multi-factor authentication (MFA) solution developed by digitronic, targeting SMEs, healthcare facilities, public administrations, and organizations operating critical infrastructure. Authentication is based on two factors: something the user knows (a short PIN) and something the user has (a hardware security token). Supported token types include RFID tokens (MIFARE DESFire), PIV tokens (e.g., YubiKey 5), smartcards, USB tokens, key fobs, and a companion smartphone app called SmartToken (available on Android and iOS). The solution integrates with Windows workstation logon and extends protection to specialist applications and web portals. A session monitoring feature automatically blocks device access when the security token is disconnected, preventing unattended workstations from remaining unsecured. SmartLogon™ can be rolled out centrally to multiple workstations via software distribution tools. Administration remains compatible with standard Windows on-board password management tools, and no Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) is required. A KeePass plugin for the Token Engine is also available.
