Data Shepherd Securley is a certificate lifecycle management solution designed to help enterprises discover, manage, and renew digital certificates across their infrastructure. The platform provides a web service (WS) interface for certificate lifecycle management and supports all certificate authorities (CAs) and platforms. It collects Microsoft CA (MS-CA) certificates across all MS-CA versions and can find certificates in Microsoft local machine stores. Remote agents are available to collect certificates from internal forests and remote networks. Core management capabilities include automatic renewal of MS-CA certificates, certificate issuance by template or Certificate Signing Request (CSR), and renewal of certificates with their original parameters. Certificates can also be imported from files, and a migration tool is provided for transitioning from SHA1 to SHA2. The platform includes monitoring and alerting features such as email notifications, event log writing, online certificate status queries, and PKI health monitoring with graphical presentation. It can scan and collect SSL certificates from the environment. For compliance and reporting, Securley generates CSV reports, displays policy exceptions (e.g., key length), presents security policy compliance summaries, and categorises certificates. It also supports certificate revocation.
