Passkey:YOU is a FIDO-certified passkey authentication solution that enables passwordless login without requiring phones or hardware tokens. It supports FIDO2, WebAuthn, and Passkey authentication protocols. Authentication is performed via two primary methods: - ID badge or contactless card tap on compatible readers - Fingerprint touch on shared USB fingerprint scanners connected to Windows workstations The solution uses centrally managed, encrypted biometrics powered by BIO-key's WEB-key platform, which is built on a multi-tenant enterprise biometric management engine with NIST-benchmarked fingerprint identification accuracy. Passkey:YOU is designed for scenarios involving shared workstations, roving users, remote workers, and phone-free workplaces. Users enroll once to gain access across multiple devices and locations. The biometric credentials are stored and managed server-side, which eliminates device-local single points of failure and provides resistance to man-in-the-middle and replay attacks. The product also supports BIO-key MobileAuth, a companion MFA app offering server-centric biometric authentication including palm scanning and facial recognition. Hardware support includes BIO-key's own fingerprint scanner lineup (SideSwipe, SidePass, SideTouch, PIV-Pro, EcoID II, Pocket10) as well as Microsoft Windows Hello-compatible scanners.
