BadgePass Enterprise Access Control Readers are physical access control devices designed to authenticate users at entry points using various card technologies. The product line includes multiple reader form factors including wall mount, mullion mount, and mini readers, with options for keypad integration and magnetic stripe support. The readers support both 125 kHz proximity and 13.56 MHz contactless smart card technologies in multi-technology configurations, enabling organizations to transition from legacy proximity cards to modern smart card systems. Supported card formats include proximity cards, MIFARE, DESFire EV1, DESFire EV2, SEOs, Multiclass, and Corporate 1000. BadgePass partners with manufacturers including Allegion and HID for reader hardware. The readers operate on Wiegand interface and are ISO compliant. Different models offer varying capabilities including two-factor authentication through card and PIN combinations, magnetic stripe reading, and support for both indoor and outdoor installations. The product line includes six main reader models: wall mount keypad reader (BAC021001), wall mount reader (BAC022001), mullion mount reader (BAC023001), mini reader available in smart-only or prox-only versions (BAC024001-BAC024002), wall mount mag stripe and keypad combo reader (BAC025001), and wall mount mag stripe combo reader (BAC025002). The modular design allows for field upgrades and configuration changes after installation.
