Protectimus Cloud-Based MFA Service is a SaaS multi-factor authentication solution that enables organizations to add two-factor/multi-factor authentication to their existing applications, systems, and infrastructure without deploying on-premises hardware. The service is delivered via the cloud and connects to target systems through a REST API or pre-built integration components. It supports authentication for a range of environments including Windows/RDP, RADIUS-compatible systems, VPN services, Active Directory, LDAP, databases, and web applications such as Outlook Web App and Office 365. The service targets multiple verticals including financial services, healthcare, education, government, energy, technology, online gaming, and gambling/sports betting platforms. Authentication is managed through the Protectimus cloud platform, with users able to enroll via hardware tokens or software-based authenticators. The service supports Single Sign-On (SSO) via SP-initiated flows for platforms such as Office 365.
