BIO-key FIDO-key is a line of hardware security keys designed for online authentication. The keys comply with FIDO2 and WebAuthN standards and are compatible with Microsoft Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems. The product line includes six models with varying connectivity and feature sets: - Nano USB-A: Compact, plug-and-play, FIDO2, OATH HOTP - Nano USB-C: Compact, plug-and-play, FIDO2, OATH HOTP - NFC (USB-A): Plug-and-play, FIDO2, NFC, OATH HOTP, NDEF (HOTP) - NFC USB-C: Plug-and-play, FIDO2, NFC, OATH HOTP, NDEF (HOTP) - BIO USB-C: Biometric, FIPS 140-2 certified, FIDO2, plug-and-play - Lightning USB-C: Compatible with macOS and iOS (Lightning + USB-C), FIDO2, OATH HOTP All models are plug-and-play and capable of storing an unlimited number of cryptographic keys. The BIO USB-C model includes a fingerprint biometric sensor and is FIPS 140-2 certified. The BIO USB-A and BIO USB-C models are noted as NIST certified. FIDO-keys can function as a standalone authentication method or as one of the supported MFA methods within BIO-key's PortalGuard platform. The keys support passwordless authentication and feature a durable, waterproof casing.
