Resec Gateway Security

Resec Gateway Security is a Zero Trust gateway security solution that prevents known and unknown threats from entering enterprise networks. The platform operates at the organization's gateway and processes all incoming files through multiple security layers. The solution quarantines all original files in a secured area outside the network while processing them. Its Intelligent File Firewall (IFF) analyzes incoming files to identify true file types based on structure rather than extensions, including embedded files and archives. Files are processed according to organizational policies at group or user levels. For malware detection, the platform includes an Antivirus Multi-Scanning Engine that orchestrates multiple antivirus solutions, a Macro Scanning Engine for Visual Basic and JavaScript code threats, and an optional Active Content Sandboxing Engine for executables and active content. The core technology is Content Disarm and Reconstruction (CDR), which analyzes file content and rebuilds files into threat-free replicas in real time. This process creates files from scratch, permitting only safe elements while maintaining file fidelity and functionality. The platform can be deployed on-premise without open internet access or in private/public cloud environments with encrypted data connections. It uses a cluster-based virtual server architecture with dynamic load balancing to eliminate single points of failure and scales to handle enterprise file traffic volumes.
