Guardz Cloud Data Protection vs Mitiga CDR: Side-by-Side Comparison (2026)

Short answer

Mid-market and enterprise security teams managing sprawling Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 deployments should use Guardz Cloud Data Protection to stop data exposure through overshared files and rogue third-party apps. The platform combines continuous permission auditing with ML-based anomaly detection across your SaaS stack, addressing the gap most teams face between identity management and actual data visibility. Skip this if you need deep forensic analysis of past incidents; Guardz prioritizes prevention and real-time remediation over threat archaeology. Teams with SaaS-heavy attack surfaces will find real value in Mitiga CDR because it actually monitors identity abuse and lateral movement across cloud applications instead of just flagging anomalies at the perimeter. The platform covers all four NIST Detect and Respond functions, with particular strength in continuous monitoring and incident analysis, which matters when your threat actors are already inside your Google Workspace or Salesforce tenant. Skip this if you need strong forensic recovery capabilities; Mitiga prioritizes detection and containment over deep post-incident reconstruction.
