Armis Centrix™ Asset Intelligence Engine vs Zscaler IoT and OT Security: Side-by-Side Comparison (2026)

Short answer

Mid-market and enterprise security teams drowning in unmanaged and IoT asset blind spots will get the most from Armis Centrix™ Asset Intelligence Engine; it tracks 5 billion assets globally and spots behavior anomalies that inventory tools simply miss. The platform's strength in continuous monitoring and adverse event analysis means you're catching compromised devices in real time, not weeks later during forensics. Skip this if your environment is mostly managed endpoints and you already have mature endpoint detection; Centrix is built for organizations where traditional asset discovery fails. Enterprise security teams managing sprawling IoT and OT networks will see immediate value in Zscaler IoT and OT Security's agentless device discovery and segmentation, which bypasses the usual firmware compatibility headaches that plague traditional firewall-based approaches. The platform's zero trust segmentation without agents covers both ID.AM asset management and PR.AA access control, two areas where most OT shops have critical blind spots. Skip this if your environment is heavily air-gapped or your vendors won't tolerate cloud-based visibility; the cloud deployment model is a feature for most, a non-starter for some.
