Core Security Bundles and Suites vs EvilClippy: Side-by-Side Comparison (2026)

Mid-market and enterprise red teams need Core Security Bundles and Suites when they're running adversary simulations that demand evasion capability and post-exploitation depth across multiple tool contexts. The integrated session passing between Core Impact, Cobalt Strike, and Outflank Security Tooling eliminates the friction of manual tool handoffs, and the centralized console cuts operator overhead in ways point solutions don't. This is overkill for organizations doing annual compliance pen tests; you're paying for operator certification and research lab access that only matter if your team is running continuous red team cycles against real infrastructure. Red teamers and penetration testers validating macro-based attack chains will find EvilClippy indispensable; it generates weaponized Office documents with VBA obfuscation and sandbox evasion in minutes, cutting reconnaissance time on engagements where social engineering is the attack vector. The 2,235 GitHub stars and active maintenance across Windows, macOS, and Linux indicate it's the standard tool for this exact workflow. Skip it if your objective is testing detection tuning or EDR response; EvilClippy prioritizes payload delivery over post-compromise simulation, so teams hunting for evasion gaps will need to pair it with endpoint logging and monitoring separately.
