Prophet Security

Prophet Security builds an AI SOC platform designed to automate and accelerate security operations for security teams. The platform addresses challenges faced by security operations centers including alert fatigue, fragmented workflows, and disconnected tools.

Prophet Security's solution uses artificial intelligence to automate alert triage and investigation, reducing mean time to response (MTTR) by enabling faster decision-making and providing reasoning, context, and consistency across security alerts.

The platform prioritizes critical alerts for analyst review, eliminates manual investigation effort, and allows security analysts to focus on high-impact security tasks rather than routine alert processing. Prophet Security targets security operations teams that need to scale their capabilities and improve efficiency in handling security alerts and incidents.

The company was founded by Kamal Shah (CEO), Vibhav Sreekanti (CTO), and Grant Oviatt (VP Product), who bring experience from companies including Oracle, Symantec, Red Hat, Mandiant, and Red Canary. Prophet Security is backed by Bain Capital Ventures and raised an $11 million seed round in 2024, followed by a $30 million funding round. The company operates with a remote workforce and maintains offices in Menlo Park, California.
