QNu Labs mCARP
QKD testing & research platform for quantum key distribution experimentation
QNu Labs mCARP Description
mCARP (Critical Analysis Research Platform) is a software platform designed for testing and analyzing quantum key distribution (QKD) systems. The platform provides a research and learning environment for understanding QKD dynamics, behavior, and effectiveness. The platform offers real-time monitoring of quantum key distribution systems through a web-based graphical user interface. Users can access the system through dedicated on-premise hardware or via cloud-based deployment using QNu Labs' server network. mCARP includes templated test sessions for QKD experimentation, eliminating the need for manual parameter entry. The platform supports user profile segregation based on authorization levels for access control. The platform provides educational content structured in three components: a Quantum Foundation Course covering QKD concepts and deployment, Quantum Lab Work for hands-on experimentation with QKDs and emulated cyberattacks, and Research Course Work focused on quantum channels and quantum key distribution. Testing capabilities include key creation, NIST and die-hard tests, statistical analyses, and key matching. The platform covers foundational lab work for QKD hardware setup, software lab work for installation and configuration, and real-world learning scenarios including distance vs. attack analysis, decoy efficacy, multi-hopping, leakage plots, and privacy amplification.
