NXM CyberSafe is an IoT cyber warranty program designed for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). It extends existing product warranties to include protection against cyber attacks and hacking incidents. The program is backed by insurance companies and is certified by Underwriters Laboratories (UL) under Arm's Platform Security Architecture (PSA) standard. The solution is implemented at the firmware level, rooted in processor security, and supports Arm Cortex-M33 and Cortex-A based processors. It provides secure peer-to-peer device-to-device communications, end-to-end data encryption, and is cloud vendor agnostic. Security monitoring is conducted at the hardware level, and any identified breaches are remediated remotely via software updates. The system eliminates single points of failure and supports fully auditable device security through blockchain technology. OEMs receive a customized dashboard for monitoring and administering their device network. The program also includes a turnkey third-party warranty administration platform (optional) and a CyberSafe emblem for product merchandising. The solution is applicable to a range of smart IoT product categories including home automation, entertainment systems, consumer electronics, printers, and medical devices. It complies with IoT security and data privacy regulations and is designed to integrate with existing OEM product engineering processes.
