MicroSec Monitoring Suite (MicroIDS) is an intrusion and tamper detection system designed for IoT and OT environments. The platform utilizes machine learning models to detect behavioral anomalies at both device and network levels. The system provides asset discovery capabilities for OT networks from L0 to L4, with visualization options including Purdue ISA 95 and IEC 62443 zone-based network maps. It supports both IP and non-IP devices and protocols. MicroIDS includes compliance assessment functionality through its CyberAssessor component, which performs automated regulatory assessments against standards such as IEC 62443 and NIST NIS2. The platform generates compliance scores, mitigation recommendations, and reports. Threat detection operates through multiple analyzers including machine learning-based, rule-based, and CVE vulnerability scanning methods. The system detects anomalies, malware, vulnerabilities, and non-compliance issues in real-time for both Ethernet and non-Ethernet devices. The platform includes MicroAgent, an embedded software component that can be deployed on resource-constrained devices including microcontrollers and bare metal IoT devices. This enables monitoring and protection of class 0 and class 1 IoT devices. MicroIDS is designed for both greenfield and brownfield industrial networks across sectors including maritime, manufacturing, smart cities, connected buildings, and critical infrastructure.
