Meeco Verifiable Credentials (VCs) is a lifecycle management service for digital credentials, enabling organisations to issue, verify, revoke, and manage credentials in a standards-based, privacy-preserving manner. The service is built on international standards published by W3C, DIF, IETF, and OIDF, ensuring interoperability through common credential schemas. It supports the full credential ecosystem, covering Issuers, Holders, and Verifiers. Key capabilities include: - Complete VC lifecycle management: schema creation, issuance, verification, revocation, and audit functions for compliance - Support for verifiable data registries (VDRs), including trusted databases, centralised ledgers, distributed ledgers, and blockchains - Access via a web portal that automates business workflows, or through a single API for direct system integration - Credential management available as a standalone service or in conjunction with Meeco's Vault and Wallet products - Cryptographic proofs to guarantee authenticity of network actors The service facilitates creation of decentralised identity networks with streamlined onboarding for Issuers, Verifiers, and Holders. Schema creation is supported via templates or custom builds, and custom credentials and presentation requests can be developed.
