JLS Tech SOCaaS (Security Operations Center as a Service) is a managed security service that provides next-generation security operations capabilities. The service operates an Advanced SOC (ASOC) that uses machine learning to automate and accelerate threat analysis processes. The service is staffed by security and network engineers holding certifications including CISSP, GIAC, CCSE, CISA, CISM, CCNP, and CCIE. Operations managers bring experience from large organizations and focus on continual training to improve detection abilities. The platform uses machine learning and AI to automate tasks within the SOC that are prone to human error and not scalable. The service aims to enhance security analysts rather than replace them, addressing the challenge that adding more staff cannot solve the speed requirements for threat detection and analysis. The machine learning capabilities are applied to prioritize workload, automate threat hunting, reduce false positives while improving accuracy, accelerate the identification of Indicators of Compromise (IOC), determine threat classification, and generate risk scoring. The service focuses on lowering the time to detect, analyze, and process actionable threat information.
