The service includes 24/7 real-time monitoring and incorporates behavioral and anomaly detection, threat intelligence, and advanced correlation capabilities. It also provides dashboards for SharePoint auditing, logon auditing, and a general Microsoft 365 security overview. Additional capabilities include secure archiving and retention for compliance and legal requirements, and protection against insider threats and human error. The service is positioned as a complement to endpoint security, with an optional EDR SOC add-on available.
