Defense Unicorns UDS Platform (Unicorn Delivery Service) is a secure, portable, airgap-native platform designed for delivering software to military systems and disconnected environments. The platform enables packaging, deployment, monitoring, and sustainment of mission applications across various environments including secure cloud, on-premises infrastructure, and tactical edge systems. UDS supports disconnected, semi-disconnected, and highly secure environments by packaging applications and their dependencies for airgapped deployment. The platform provides portability across multiple cloud providers including AWS GovCloud, Azure, and Google Cloud, as well as on-premises and resource-constrained tactical edge systems. The platform is built on an open source foundation to prevent vendor lock-in and ensure data independence. UDS is configured to meet NIST SP 800-53 technical controls out-of-the-box, providing ATO-ready compliance for secure environments from initial deployment. The platform includes capabilities for software management, multi-cloud deployments, and distributed weapons systems. It enables organizations to package software once and deploy it anywhere, supporting large-scale operations while maintaining security requirements for military and defense applications.
