CYSEC ARCA Trusted OS Description
ARCA Trusted OS is a Linux-based micro distribution designed for containerized edge computing environments. It provides a trusted execution environment (TEE) that addresses security challenges across the edge ecosystem, including edge devices, cloud-edge integration, and endpoints. The OS protects data across all three states — at rest, in transit, and in use — throughout the full edge computing stack. It is built on a secure-by-design approach, offering confidentiality and integrity of data collected at the edge, as well as trust in application logic. ARCA Trusted OS is designed to prevent attackers from using edge devices as an entry point into broader networks. It provides a homogeneous security layer for container environments extending from backend infrastructure to the far edge. Documented use cases include securing drone fleets, agricultural UAVs with remote attestation, IoT key management, AI inference on edge devices (e.g., Raspberry Pi), LoRaWAN/IoT deployments, and smart energy storage systems. The product can be monitored using tools such as Fluentbit and Loki.
