Clavister TactiGate XD is a military-grade cross-domain security appliance developed in partnership with Saab, designed for secure, real-time communication across multiple classified security domains, including NATO Restricted and NATO Secret environments. The appliance enables simultaneous, policy-controlled communication across different security domains, handling multiple sub-systems concurrently. It is built to comply with MIL-STD-810 and similar defence standards, making it suitable for deployment in vehicles, naval platforms, and command posts where size, weight, and power constraints are critical. Key components are certified under Common Criteria and listed in the NATO Information Assurance Product Catalogue (NIAPC), supporting accreditation for NATO and other classified network deployments. TactiGate XD combines several security functions into a single device: - Cross-domain guard with unified policy enforcement alongside integrated firewall capabilities - Site-to-site VPN with strong encryption and quantum-resistant encryption (available in an upcoming release) - On-device AI-based anomaly detection with training completed in under 15 minutes, requiring no cloud connectivity - Flexible network segmentation with configurable data filtering to reduce attack surface - Dynamic networking support including static, virtual, dynamic, and application-based routing, IPsec tunnel termination, traffic shaping, and QoS - Threat prevention covering DoS mitigation, malware detection, exploit blocking, supply chain attack monitoring, and unauthorised access prevention The system runs on a hardened microkernel to minimise the trusted compute base (TCB) and reduce system dependencies.
