The Iron Edge Gateway (IEG) is a hardware and firmware router manufactured in the US that provides encrypted network connectivity with low-probability-of-detection and low-probability-of-intercept capabilities. The device functions as a plug-and-play solution that connects to ISP modems via WAN interface and serves as a DHCP server for edge-user devices. The router supports multiple connectivity types including cellular, satellite, fiber, cable, and SDWAN from any Internet Service Provider. It features dual WAN interfaces with multi-ISP failover capability for redundancy. The IEG utilizes the CISEN SDN PQC (Software-Defined Network with Post-Quantum Cryptography) infrastructure for network traffic routing. Encryption is implemented using ML-KEM Level 5, FIPS 203 post-quantum cryptography suite as standardized by NIST and NSA. The system provides end-to-end encryption for data in transit and at rest through multiple encryption protocols and a proprietary randomization algorithm. The device obfuscates the public IP address assigned by the ISP and routes all inbound and outbound traffic through the CISEN SDN infrastructure. The IEG servers and CISEN SDN PQC infrastructure are managed through an attribution mechanism and configured with security layers for network protection against analytics and pattern-of-life analysis.
