AliroNet Quickstart is an entanglement-based quantum networking solution that combines quantum and classical network hardware with comprehensive software for orchestration, control, and data plane operation. The system generates shared secrets and keys through quantum entanglement rather than legacy QKD technologies like BB84 or prepare-and-measure methods. The solution operates as a configurable production, trial, or testbed environment for building and running quantum networking use cases and applications. It supports entanglement-based key distribution, networking of quantum processors, and connectivity for distributed quantum sensors. The system transports qubits across fiber optic connections or free space connections. AliroNet Quickstart includes the Aliro Orchestrator for quantum network configuration, control, and monitoring, along with the AlirOS operating system running on or adjacent to quantum network hardware devices. The solution is compatible with classical networking hardware and operates at room temperature. Available in two packages: a base package with 810nm wavelength and 2 nodes, and an advanced package with 1550nm wavelength and 3 nodes. The system can be deployed as a rack-mounted solution or light table system suitable for wiring closets, data centers, or laboratory environments. The solution enables organizations to combine quantum networking with post-quantum cryptography to create layered defense-in-depth security for data, voice, and video transmission. It eliminates the need for sharing public keys by using entanglement-based methods for generating shared keys.
