CyberTraining Computer Hacker and Forensic Investigator Training is an online educational course that prepares students for computer forensics and cybercrime investigation disciplines. The course provides instruction on forensic investigation scenarios and hands-on experience with standard forensic investigation tools. The training covers multiple areas including introduction to computer forensics, computer forensics investigation processes, searching and seizing computers, digital evidence handling, and various forensic investigation techniques. Students learn skills applicable to security incidents such as data breaches, corporate espionage, and insider threats. The course consists of 101 classes delivered through expert-created video tutorials spanning approximately one week of content. It includes interactive lab exercises that provide practical experience with forensic tools and procedures. Topics covered include evidence collection, data analysis, legal aspects of computer forensics, warrants and search procedures, digital evidence characteristics, and investigation reporting. Upon completion, students can earn 9 (ISC)² CPE or CompTIA CEU credits. The course can be used for Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) exam preparation, though individual courses can also be taken independently to learn specific topics.
