ACOS5-64 is a cryptographic smart card compliant with ISO 7816-1/2/3/4/8/9 standards and Common Criteria EAL5+ certified at chip level. The card features 64KB of EEPROM memory for application data storage and supports multiple cryptographic operations including RSA up to 4,096 bits, DES/3DES, and AES encryption with 128/192/256-bit key lengths. The card includes an on-board RSA processor for key generation, digital signatures, and encryption operations. It supports SHA-1 and SHA-256 hashing algorithms and implements secure messaging with MAC options to protect against third-party attacks. The card provides mutual authentication, session key generation, and multi-level secured access hierarchy. ACOS5-64 supports T=0 direct protocol with high-speed transmission from 9,600 to 223,200 bps and configurable ATR. It implements ISO 7816 Part 4 file structures including transparent, linear fixed, linear variable, and cyclic formats. The card is FIPS 140-2 compatible and includes anti-tearing functionality. ACS provides CSP/PKCS#11 middleware and mini-driver support for Windows and Linux applications, with compatibility for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 in both x86 and x64 environments. The card enables multiple PKI applications including secure email signing, logical PC access, VPN authentication, document digital signatures, PDF encryption, and secure hard disk partitioning.
