Team Cymru

Team Cymru operates as a cyber threat intelligence provider that has been active since 2005. The company maintains what it describes as the world's largest data ocean for cyber threat intelligence, processing over 300 billion daily internet connections through its Pure Signal platform. The platform aggregates data from over 1,300 collaborative data sharing partners and processes approximately 750,000 events per second.

The company's core offering centers on NetFlow data and real-time global internet traffic data, which enables security teams to create their own threat intelligence, improve incident response, and gain visibility into malicious infrastructure.

The platform tracks over 640 million malware hashes and actively polls approximately 475,000 command and control servers monthly. Team Cymru normalizes and indexes over 40 data types to support threat detection and analysis.

Team Cymru operates two main divisions. The Community Services division provides no-cost threat detection and intelligence to network operators, hosting providers, and more than 140 CSIRT teams across 86+ countries, representing approximately 52% of IPv4 and 75% of IPv6 space. The Commercial Solutions division serves enterprise clients and cybersecurity vendors who require comprehensive visibility into global cyber threats.

The company's team comprises former members of national and industry CSIRT teams, law enforcement and military personnel, ISP backbone engineers, Fortune 500 enterprise network engineers, penetration testers, and various developers and system engineers. Their focus is on enabling security teams to track and disrupt advanced threat actors and malevolent infrastructures through access to uncurated, real-time internet traffic data.
