Soveren

Soveren is a sensitive data observability company that provides a unified Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) and Data Detection and Response (DDR) platform. The company focuses on helping organizations automatically discover, monitor, and control sensitive data across their systems to address data security, privacy, and compliance requirements.

The platform works by monitoring data in transit without requiring direct access to existing systems or sensitive data stores. This approach enables organizations to understand what sensitive data exists, where it resides, and how it is being used throughout their infrastructure. The technology provides continuous monitoring capabilities that replace manual, time-consuming data security and privacy processes.

Soveren targets high-growth startups and medium-sized businesses that need to protect customer data from security breaches and privacy violations. The company's founders previously built Instamart, a grocery delivery business in Eastern Europe, where they encountered challenges with protecting customer data that inspired them to create Soveren.

The company has raised $11M in funding from investors including founders and executives from companies like Snyk, Datadog, Palo Alto Networks, Slack, MuleSoft, Amazon, Microsoft, and DeepMind. Soveren operates as a remote team distributed across Europe and works with organizations to help them maintain compliance with data protection regulations while enabling business operations to continue without disruption.
