Quantum eMotion

Quantum eMotion is a cybersecurity company founded on research conducted by Professor Bertrand Reulet at the Université de Sherbrooke, focusing on quantum noise and electron tunneling phenomena. The company's core intellectual property centers on a patented Quantum Random Number Generator (QRNG) that exploits the inherent unpredictability of quantum mechanics — specifically the behavior of electrons — to produce true, high-speed randomness for cryptographic applications.

The company offers several products and services built around this QRNG technology. Its high-throughput QRNG hardware delivers over 1 Gbps of quantum-generated entropy and is NIST-compliant. The eFlux-Q platform provides Entropy as a Service, delivering quantum randomness over the cloud.

Sentry-Q is a solution for embedding quantum-grade key generation and cryptography into applications, IoT devices, and mission-critical systems. The company also offers quantum-secure hardware and software wallets designed to protect blockchain and digital assets against both classical and quantum computing threats.

Target markets include enterprises, government agencies, healthcare, financial services, energy sector, and organizations operating critical infrastructure. The company also addresses blockchain and cryptocurrency applications, where strong random number generation is considered essential for cryptographic integrity.

Quantum eMotion trades on the NYSE American exchange under the ticker QNC and is headquartered in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The company positions itself as a provider of post-quantum cryptographic readiness tools, helping organizations prepare for threats posed by quantum computing advances.
