IS Decisions

IS Decisions is a French cybersecurity software company founded in 2000 and headquartered in Biarritz, France. The company specializes in access security software designed primarily for on-premises and hybrid Active Directory (AD) environments, serving IT teams across sectors including government, defense, manufacturing, finance, and healthcare.

The company offers two core products: UserLock and FileAudit. UserLock provides multi-factor authentication (MFA), single sign-on (SSO), and real-time user access monitoring for Active Directory environments. It enables IT teams to enforce contextual access restrictions, monitor login and logoff activity, secure remote desktop (RDP) sessions, and meet regulatory MFA requirements.

FileAudit is a file access auditing solution that tracks, records, and reports on read, write, and delete access events to files and folders on Windows servers, supporting compliance with regulations such as SOX.

Both products are designed to function in on-premises, hybrid, and air-gapped environments, distinguishing them from cloud-native IAM solutions. IS Decisions positions its tools as lightweight and straightforward to deploy, targeting organizations that maintain legacy or on-premises infrastructure alongside modern cloud services.

The company holds the "France CyberSecurity" label, is a Microsoft Partner, and is pursuing CSPN certification from ANSSI, the French national cybersecurity agency. IS Decisions also supports Managed Service Providers (MSPs) through flexible licensing and pricing models. Its solutions are developed entirely in France.
