FACT360

FACT360 is a UK-based company founded in 2020 that develops AI and unsupervised machine learning software for insider threat detection and fraud investigation. The company applies techniques rooted in traffic analysis — inspired by World War II-era communications intelligence work — to modern communication networks, analyzing behavioral patterns to identify anomalies that deviate from historical norms.

The platform incorporates Natural Language Processing (NLP), transactional analytics, artificial neural networks, swarm intelligence, and proprietary "Breakout Algorithms" to group communication messages and surface unusual activity. The core differentiator is its unsupervised machine learning approach, which identifies suspicious behavior without requiring predefined rules or labeled training data.

FACT360's primary use cases include insider threat investigations, occupational fraud detection, and legal disclosure analysis. Its technology is used by organizations to accelerate fraud investigations by processing large volumes of communication and transactional data.

The company has a partnership with G4S Investigation Solutions (part of Allied Universal), the world's largest security and investigation business, where FACT360 serves as the underlying technology for fraud investigations.

The team combines commercial software experience with academic expertise, including faculty from Goldsmiths, University of London's Centre for Intelligent Data Analytics (TCIDA). The company also has advisory involvement from former National Crime Agency investigators.

FACT360 is headquartered in Waterlooville, Hampshire, UK, and has expanded its reach to include partnerships in South Africa and participation in international events such as the Australian Cyber Conference and the Cambridge International Symposium on Financial Crime.
