Balbix

Balbix provides an AI-powered cyber risk and exposure management platform designed to help organizations gain visibility into their attack surface and reduce cyber risk. The platform serves as a centralized system that consolidates multiple security functions including vulnerability management, cyber risk quantification, and asset and application inventory.

The company's technology uses artificial intelligence to analyze cybersecurity data and provide actionable recommendations for risk reduction. Their product suite includes BIX, a GenAI-powered assistant for cyber risk and exposure management, which helps security teams make data-driven decisions. The platform enables organizations to quantify cyber risk, prioritize vulnerabilities based on actual risk, and automate remediation workflows.

Balbix targets Global 2000 enterprises and Fortune 1000 organizations, positioning their solution as the "AI brain" of security programs. The platform is designed to help Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs) understand their cyber risk posture and communicate security metrics to business leaders including CEOs, CFOs, and board members.

The company operates through a partner-first business model, working with VARs, distributors, MSSPs, system integrators, and technology partners. Their solutions are available through AWS Marketplace and they have partnerships with major organizations including Verizon, Ernst & Young, Optiv, and others.

Balbix was recognized by CNBC as one of the Top 25 startups for the enterprise in 2022 and has been named a representative vendor in multiple Gartner Hype Cycle reports.
