What is Identity Verification?
Identity verification is the process of confirming that a person is who they claim to be by checking government-issued documents, biometric data, or other signals against trusted sources. It is used during onboarding and authentication to establish a reliable level of identity assurance before granting access or completing a transaction.
What it does
Identity verification products check that a real, live person matches the identity they present. Common capabilities include:
