Our take
What our shortlists say about the one we picked.
- OpenText Fortify SAST
Best for: Large companies wanting cloud or on-premises scans with compliance reports
It earns a place because it runs as SaaS, private hosted or fully on premises, and its policies report against OWASP Top 10, PCI DSS and ISO 27001, which suits regulated teams that cannot send code to a shared cloud. Decide who owns the scan policies, since blocking builds only works when someone sets what counts as a blocker.
