Fornetix VaultCore is a commercial key management solution by Fornetix. Tang is a free key management solution. Features, integrations, deployment and the company behind each one, side by side.
What our shortlists say about the one we picked.
Best for: Government and enterprise teams needing ABAC-driven key orchestration
The integration list, VMware, Nutanix, Splunk, Micron, ThinkOn, Dell, reflects an on-premises and hybrid data center focus. This is not a cloud-first solution. Teams running primarily in AWS or Azure will find the integration surface narrower than platforms like Akeyless or CipherTrust Manager. VaultCore is the right choice when your key management problem is fundamentally about orchestration across heterogeneous on-premises and hybrid environments, not cloud-native BYOK.
