Phin Security

Phin Security is a security awareness training and phishing simulation platform designed for managed service providers (MSPs) and their clients. The platform enables partners to manage multiple client companies through a centralized interface, delivering phishing simulation campaigns and security awareness training to end users.

Core capabilities include launching and managing phishing campaigns with customizable templates, running training campaigns through a built-in learning management system (LMS), and enforcing security policies. The platform also incorporates dark web monitoring and a feature called PhinboxIQ, which relates to mailbox-level phishing detection.

Phin Security provides a reporting and analytics layer that generates weekly and monthly performance reports in PDF and CSV formats, accessible via a partner/company-scoped API. The API allows programmatic management of companies, users, and reporting artifacts, supporting integrations with third-party tools and marketplaces such as Pax8.

The platform is structured around a partner model, where MSPs act as partners who onboard and manage client organizations. Features include user management, allowlisting for email delivery, personalization of phishing simulation elements (such as report phishing button icons), and role-based admin access.

The solution targets the human risk reduction segment by combining phishing simulation with security training content to measure and improve employee security behavior over time.
